From August onwards, 3G will be switched off as we prepare to launch our new mobile network.
- For most customers, your service will continue as normal. The majority of phones and devices already support 4G, so calls, texts and mobile data will keep working.
- If you currently use 3G for mobile data, you may just need to update your device settings to connect to 4G once 3G is switched off.
- For older devices that support only 2G and 3G, calls and texts will continue to work but mobile data will be slower. We recommend upgrading to a 5G-ready device to get the best experience as the new network launches.
We are here to support you every step of the way. If your device is affected, we will be in touch directly to help you stay connected.
You can find more details below on what this means for your device and any steps you may need to take.
