If customers appeared in the Jersey Directory prior to joining Sure, and have not asked to be removed – their listing will remain in the directory, if they appeared in the directory for the first time after joining Sure, they will not appear in the Jersey Directory.
If customers appear in the 2020/21 directory and wish to be removed, they will need to contact Yabsta Limited on 01534 882508, or use the online form at www.jtdirectory.com/contacts.
Sure has been working with Yabsta Limited (the new owners of the Jersey Directory) to agree a new data sharing agreement that reflects the more stringent requirements of GDPR and local data protection law. Unfortunately, we have not been able to reach an agreement with respect to the handling of our customers’ data in time for the print deadline and therefore we have requested that their information is not included in the 2020/21 printed Jersey directory. We’re very sorry for any inconvenience this decision causes but the security of customers’ data is of paramount importance to all parties.
We’re working closely with Yabsta Limited to resolve this as quickly as possible so Sure customers can be included in the online directory later this year and the 2021/22 print edition if they wish. As part of our customer communications we’re asking everyone who has previously appeared in the directory to review their directory status and make any changes if they wish to still be included in the future. If customers would like to appear in the Jersey directory they will need to send an email to email@example.com to confirm their name (as it appears on their bill), account number and address.
